Dehydrated skin - 2008/08/03 23:50

My face is dehydrated and sensitive with broken capillaries. I'm currently using 'The Natural Source' day cream(for sensitive skin). Is there anyone who had this skin type & is using an effective product? Help!

Hi natacoco,

my mum has very sensitive skin too with broken capillaries and her skin flush easily.

She is currently using Henry Tianus range of products and is very pleased with the result.

They have a wide range of product from Anti-Aging, Moisturisers and soon on.

Check this out www.henrytianus.com.sg

Hi

I have dehydrated skin and broken capillaries too. With regards to the latter, it is almost uncurable unless you go for injections to lighten the appearance of it.

But you can definitely provide more hydration to your skin by using hydrating products.

I am now using Hyaluronic Acid from skin inc.Its main function is to deeply hydrate and firm your skin.It holds 6 litres of water per gram and works to bind mositure in the skin.

What I love about this product is that it is water soluble , it penetrates into the skin quickly and does not leave a sticky feeling.

What more, it is really effective and I can see results in 4 to 5 days of using it. No more tight feeling, flaky skin for me.

You can check out the website www.skininc.biz to check it out. They have an outlet in Republic plaza and the central mall too.

Hope I helped.

Hi there,

Thanks for the information given, will look into it. I'm aware of the my skin condition & there's no cure for broken capillaries unless cosmetics camouflaged or some special treatments.

Maybe it's kind of a 'blessing' to have such skin type. We can call it sensitive skin(due to couperous)/dehydrated skin. We ain't advise to go through any facial procedures which involve electric currents as it will worsen the problem. Broken capillaries'll 'spread' further and cause redness, hence we're saving money in another way too huh...free of facial treatments.Oh, gentle massages are fine though...have a good day!
